Blest Mess
What is Blest Mess?

Blest Mess is my service for families seeking clarity about their routines and possessions. I help with everything from dust bunnies to closet overhauls to meal and chore routines.

I support you to work through your home and possessions at a reasonable pace, pausing to process the emotions and reasons for these objects and recurrent challenges with organization, time management, and more.

Sometimes my support lands me right in the middle of your garage or kitchen, we dig in and then plan what come next. Other times we can meet in zoom or sit at your table to process your goals. Dusting, cleaning, yes, I'm skilled and able to do that, but 'unpacking' what your needs are to create and maintain order is how I can put my experience to best use. It is an honor and a privilege to enter your heart and home your past and dreams. Together we work towards order and cultivate beauty.

A Blest Mess initial session includes cell or zoom call to prepare a plan to make the most of the in home transformation. We'll discuss your personal circumstances and needs, I'll make suggestions of supplies and preparations from my experience to make good use or our time for my hands on work.
Following the initial set up, I'll work the remaining of a 3 hour period.
We can discuss if you'll have other helping hands, what extent your want to help me as we go, and set reasonable goals for your family.

Future 'blessings' will be discussed, adjustments made, taking into consideration your changing needs.

What does God say about clutter?
Verse 6 says there is “a time to keep, and a time to cast away.” (ESV) There is a time to get rid of what we no longer use. It can be a good thing to discard or to recycle. Finally, I found the story Jesus told in Luke 12: 15-21.Jun 12, 2020
